First ride since I got a bad chest infection. I've been very grumpy and generally bad company for the last couple of weeks. It's gone from viral cough, to secondary chest , to viral throat now. Sod it I'm not taking 3 weeks off for a cold! I dont care if I get pneumonia - call me stupid.

We rode up Lidlington, my legs felt great, but I was coughing like a steam engine. From there over to Lidlington and then Houghton Regis. Mike couldn't get his big ring so we stopped for him to adjust the front changer. As usual in these situations everyone "has a go", to try and perfect it.

Over to Brickville, then climb up to Cranfield. Nice descent thro' the woods back to Brog.

OK I'm not dead. I will probably pay next week....
